3rd On-site Capacity Building Workshop
Indonesia–Korea Joint Workshop on Modern Laboratory and Instrumentation in the Fields of Green Bio
The 3rd On-Site Workshop, titled the 3rd KOICA-ICAB On-Site Capacity Building Program: Indonesia–Korea Joint Workshop on Modern Laboratory & Instrumentation in the Fields of Green Bio, was held on 24th – 26th July 2024. This workshop was held in aim to strengthen the collaboration between academia and industry in the fields of Modern Laboratory.
This workshop was attended by Rector of Universitas Palangka Raya, Prof. Salampak, Rector of Institut Teknologi Kalimantan, Prof. Agus Rubiyanto, and Rector of Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa, Prof. Fatah Sulaiman, and also participated by the Head of Central Laboratories from 17 National Universities. Each university gave a presentation showcasing their growing competitiveness in international research.
Four esteemed professors from Korean universities also attended as experts, including Prof. Tae Sub Park from Seoul National University, Prof. Ki Woo Kim from Kyungpook National University, Prof. Jin Ah Cho from Chungnam National University, and Prof. Ik Young Choi from Kangwon National University. Regarding the academy-industry cooperation, the workshop also invited 15 Start Ups that are managed under the IPB Science Technopark to participate in the workshop.
The non-Academia participants included the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) and 7 Laboratory companies (COXEM, JEIO TECH, YOUNG IN ACE, BIONEER, ASTA, BMS, and PARK SYSTEMS) from Republic of Korea who also had the opportunity to display an exhibition booth for their respective companies.
