The KOICA-ICAB Short Term Training is an annual 10-day program held in Seoul, designed to enhance participants’ knowledge and skills in advanced laboratory management and environmental research. One of the key activities is an exclusive visit to the National Instrumental Center for Environment and Management (NICEM) at Seoul National University, where participants gain firsthand insights into laboratory operations and technologies. The knowledge acquired is expected to be applied to strengthen laboratory practices in Indonesia.

Since its initiation, this program has been successfully conducted in 2023, 2024, and 2025, with a total of 15 selected participants each year. As an additional highlight, the Green Bio Science Forum is held for one day during the program, providing a platform for experts and participants to exchange ideas on sustainable biotechnology and environmental science.
